Jarrod has a background in science; he was a Biology Major at Grinnell College. After college,
Jarrod attended law school at Syracuse University where he was president of the Environmental Law Society. Before
coming to the Northern Vermont RC&D, Jarrod practiced law in Washington, D.C. Outside of his job at the
RC&D, Jarrod has his Private Pilot License and enjoys flying.

Troy started working for the RC&D as a work study student in his senior year at Vermont
Technical College (1997-1998) and started full time when the Dry Hydrant Grant Program was implemented in May of
1998. His hobbies are guitar and vocals in rock and roll bands, TOYS, inventions...and his goal is to have his own
company and live life to the fullest whenever possible.

Alan was road foreman for the Town of Hardwick for 9 years, and then worked for Casella
Construction for 6 years as a site supervisor. He is happily married with four children (one is a border collie
